My obsession with Kate Moss began around 1992. I was just 11 years old. I remember my step mom showing me a photo in a magazine, a photo of this "new" model. She was intrigued, this girl was breaking mold of the 90's bombshell supermodels of that time. She was skinny and plain, and not quite tall enough to be on the runway. I was skinny, I was plain, I was teased and bullied, and deep into the insecurities that came along with all of that. I could relate to this chick, I was like her. I could see our similarities. I thought, like all other girls.. "I want to model, I'm just like Kate."

That was only the beginning. The love affair with Kate has spanned many decades of my life, and continues through today. She is an icon, she is perfect and imperfect. Her style is effortless and insane. She has single handedly changed the way I dress, the way I style my hair, as well as how much or how little makeup I wear. I have looked to her for inspiration on more occasions than I can count.

For me, she is the ultimate muse, she will forever be my favorite. Dare I say, the greatest of all time.

This is a tribute to her.. Thank you Kate, for making a little girl feel less awkward and believe I could be anything I wanted to be. Forever Kate.
